Bag away...
Once my sister wanted to buy herself a bag while we were on a shopping tour, and all I asked her if she could wait a bit and I will make her one (better and fitting to her needs) and her you go... I have a blog about bags.
One can see very clearly, that the first bags I've made were to help me, to learn the ways of making a bag and now after 10-s of books about bag-making and trials with different shapes and types of fabrics... I'm getting ready to have my work exhibited at our local library in the whole month of July 2007.

My Mother wanted a shopping tote and here is one which can be used for shopping and for an overnight trip.
The size is: 45 cm long and 32 cm wide. the bottom is 10 cm wide. It has 2 types of handle: the usual handle and a long strap (removable) to carry over the shoulder.
The fabric is 100 cotton Drapery.
